Weekly Prayer Points

Kingdom Authority & Gentleness

Target: Yourself

(2 Chronicles 7:14; Romans 1:16 TPT; Galatians 5:22-23 TPT; Ephesians 4:2 TPT)

 

  • Ask God to reveal any areas where you have not walked in humility and confess those as sin.

  • Declare that you are not intimidated to share the truth!

  • Pray for an increase of the fruit of the Spirit.

  • Pray for discipline to demonstrate gentleness toward those who are especially challenging.

 

Target: Your Family

  • Declare that the Lord is working in your family, according to His ways.

  • Pray that your family members will not be under the sway of the world.

  • Walk through your neighborhood praying for your neighbors to have ears to hear the truth.

  • Ask God to impact each home in your neighborhood and pray that your neighbors find rest for their souls.

  • Pray for direction from the Holy Spirit on ways you can be an example to your neighbors.

 

Target: Your City

  • Walk through your city taking authority over spiritual forces of evil.

  • Declare over the leaders in the schools, businesses, & government of your cities to be led by God's Kingdom way.

  • Declare that your city is not manipulated by unrighteous gain, but instead pursues godliness.

  • Pray for instruction and revelation on ways you can bring hope to your city.

 

Target: Your State

(Psalm 27:13-14; Psalm 37:3; 2 Samuel 22:32-37; Titus 3:1-2)

 

  • Pray for the leaders and those in authority in your state to be strong and take heart.

  • Declare that your state government, education, & businesses put their trust in the Lord!

  • Cry out for your state to get their help from God, and that He would be their shield.

  • Ask God to direct you and the people of your state to be subject to authority, considerate and gentle to all.

  • Pray that God be the Lord of the your nation and therefore your nation is blessed.

  • Pray that your nation will follow the laws of the Lord.

  • Declare that every selfish ambition be exposed and that the wisdom of heaven would reign over your nation.

  • Ask God to strengthen the leaders of your nation, that they would acknowledge Him as their Shepherd and allow Him to lead them.

  • Pray for all nations and people around the world to acknowledge Jesus as Lord of all.

  • Ask God to send more laborers to reveal His heart for all nations: to be one in unity with Him!

  • Pray that the enemy's hidden schemes for division will be exposed and revealed and that truth would reign in all nations!

Obedience Over Rebellion/Lawlessness

Target: Yourself

(Job 13:23; 2 Corinthians 2:8-9; Romans 6:17; Isaiah 63:10; Hebrews 5:8)

  • Ask God to show you any disobedience or rebellion in you so that you may surrender all. 

  • Ask God to make you sensitive to the Holy Spirit so that you don't grieve His Holy Spirit.

  • Declare that you are no longer a slave to sin, but that you, from the heart, obey God's word.

  • Reaffirm your love for God and commit to being obedient in all things.

 

Target: Your Family

(Colossians 3:20; 1 Peter 1:14; Joshua 24:15; Numbers 14:9)

 

  • Declare that your children will not be rebellious, but obedient. 

  • Pray that your family members will not conform themselves to ungodliness, but, that they will walk in holiness.  

  • Declare that as for me and my house, we will serve and obey the Lord.

  • Declare that you are not afraid of your adversary because you are obedient to the Lord.

 

Target: Your Neighbors

(Romans 6:16; Deuteronomy 11:13; Deuteronomy 15:5; Philippians 2:8)

 

  • Walk through your neighborhood praying for your neighbors to submit themselves to God.

  • Pray that your neighbors turn from sin.

  • Ask God to meet the individual needs of each home so that they may come to the obedience of God.

  • Pray for direction from the Holy Spirit on ways you can minister to your neighbors.

  • Pray that obedience may bring righteousness and blessing to your neighbors.

 

Target: Your City

  • Walk through your city praying for the obedience to God to prevail.

  • Pray for the workers in schools, businesses and government to follow Christ. 

  • Pray that God would bring transformation to your city. 

  • Pray for the removal of all lawlessness from your city.

(Hosea 8:1; Ezekiel 20:38; Titus 2:14)

  • Pray for the leaders and those in authority in your state to become obedient to God.

  • Declare the kingdom of God and His plans will come to your state government, education and business.

  • Cry out for the removal of all rebellion and lawlessness from your state.

  • Pray for safety and protection of God's people and rebuke every evil plan of Satan that is designed to create civil unrest in your state.

Truth & Love

Target: Yourself

  • Ask God to reveal any areas where truth may not be known or seen in your life.

  • Declare that you will walk in all truth!

  • Thank God that He is love and that He has given you the ability to walk in love.

  • Pray for God to overwhelm you with His love.

  • Declare that your family walks in the truth of the word of God.

  • Walk through your city, praying for the truth of God to reign.

  • Pray that the Spirit of Truth will guide the leaders in the schools, businesses, and government in your city.

  • Declare that the people of your city will experience the love of God and show love to all those around them.

  • Pray for instruction and revelation of ways you can display the love of God to others in your city.

Goodness & Mercy

  • Ask God to reveal any thoughts of doubt or insecurity you may have about how He sees you.

  • Declare that as you walk close to God and let Him lead, you lack NOTHING!

  • Thank God that He is quick to forgive and holds no record of wrong as you call out to Him.

  • Pray for God to guide you in the path of humility with others and with Him.

  • Declare that your family walks in long suffering and graciousness to one another.

  • Pray that your family members display the fruit of the Spirit.

  • Thank God for your prosperous and healthy life.

  • Request God so that the Sun of Righteousness may arise with healing in His wings for your life.

  • Declare God's healing and protection over your family in this pandemic.

  • Pray for the restoration of hearts of your family members towards each other.

  • Declare victory over your neighbors in the area of health during this pandemic..

  • Ask God to meet the needs of each home, and for their health and restoration (physical, financial or emotional).

  • Ask God for divine direction so you become a faithful and wise envoy for your neighbors, who brings healing.

 

Target: Your City

  • Walk through your city praying for healing and restoration for all who live there.

  • Pray for health and restoration of the leaders in the schools, businesses and government of your city.

  • Ask God to heal the brokenhearted in your city and to bind up their wounds.

  • Ask God for his guidance so that He may use you as a repairer of the breach in your city.

  • Declare that recovery is coming to your entire family.
